Tourism and Hospitality are among the world’s fastest-growing sectors, with gross global revenue from bookings surpassing US$1.6 Trillion in 2017. Factoring in indirect economic contributions, they now accounts for a staggering 10.2% of global GDP.

A strengthening global economy lies at the crux of this industry’s phenomenal growth. Each year, the pool of global travelers is flooded with millions of new consumers with rising disposable incomes from both emerging as well as developed markets.

A US$3.7 Trillion industry today, from 2013-2015, the global wellness sector registered double-digit increase, growing faster than the global economy/GDP, which shrank by -3.6%. With growing awareness and emphasis, wellness associated expenditure is now nearly half as large as the total global health expenditures (US$7.6 Trillion).

The Wellness Real Estate sub sector, flashing a US$134 Billion total ticket in 2017, shows no signs of slowing down, with over 740 Wellness Lifestyle Projects, in various stages, across 34 countries, in the pipeline.
